Keep your clippers and motors in tip-top shape. They should be serviced a minimum of every 3-6 months; more frequently depending on the volume of clipping you do. A good rule of thumb is every second time you get your blades sharpened, send the clipper in for a checkup and cleaning. Not only will it increase the longevity of the clipper, but also reduce or eliminate downtime caused by malfunctioning clippers.
